Are We Silently Witnessing Further War Crimes by the Israeli Government and Israeli Defence Forces?
We witness yet another horrifying massacre, as scenes of Israeli air raids hitting the Al-Fakhoora School and another shelter in Tal Al-Zataar, emerge. Both facilities are run by the United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. This comes soon after the attacks on Al-Shifa Hospital where hundreds of patients and premature babies were killed.
Terrifying images from the aftermath of the Israeli bombing show rooms and hallways filled with the bodies of Palestinians, most of whom were women and children, piled on top of each other, with blood flowing on the school’s floors.
This is a further atrocity committed by the Israel Defence Forces, which is acting with impunity and in an indiscriminate manner. No child, woman, or refugee can be considered safe.
The international community continues to silently witness the massacres of civilians in refugee camps. Humanity is failing the Palestinian people.
The Australian Government must condemn Israel’s indiscriminate attacks and call for an immediate ceasefire. The Australian Government must stand against the aggression and brutality of the Israeli Defence Forces.
We are witnessing war crimes being committed against a civilian population. We urge all Australians to stand for justice and against the ongoing indiscriminate and brutal aggression and attacks of the Israeli Defence Forces.
We must raise our voices and seek immediate intervention and accountability.
Civilian deaths and suffering MUST STOP.
