The Grand Mufti of Australia and the Australian Fatwa Council would like to take this opportunity to make the following announcement:
Thursday, 30th June 2022 is the first of the Month of Thul Hijjah in the year 1443 after the Hijrah (Migration of the Prophet Peace Be Upon Him).
Friday, 8th of July 2022 will be the Day of Arafah (9th of Thul Hijjah) and
