ANIC Islamic Finance Advisory

ANIC ISLAMIC FINANCE ADVISORY (AIFA) was established by the Australian National Imams Council (ANIC) to support the Islamic financial services industry in Australia. AIFA offers Shariah compliance certification, product accreditation, industry standardisation, and expert advisory services. It also engages in advocacy and research to advance Islamic finance in meeting the financial and banking needs of Australian Muslims.
AIFA’s operations are guided by Islamic Shariah principles, the Australian Fatwa Council, and globally recognised industry standards. A team of subject matter experts in finance, law, and accounting work alongside Shariah scholars to deliver certification and accreditation services. This collaborative approach ensures the provision of high-quality, contemporary advice marked by ethical standards, transparency, and professionalism.
AIFA will certify financial products issued by entities that are duly licensed by the relevant Australian regulatory authorities for the relevant products offered or duly delegated by a licensed operator.
AIFA is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Australian National Imams Council (ANIC), the peak body of Imams and Muslim scholars in Australia. AIFA is well positioned to lead the Islamic finance sector with credibility, expertise, and community trust.
